Easter

Tyler now has 2 teeth! His first started coming in at 9 1/2 months. That one didn't seem to bother him, but the second one seems to be a bit more painful. We think we're free of ear infections for now - hopefully we'll get a good report at his 1 year checkup.

Tyler had a wonderful first Easter! The Easter Bunny found his way to our house and Tyler was very interested in the Easter grass. Rodney had to leave town, so I headed to his parents house in Van Vleck on Saturday to celebrate with his family. We had a big Easter egg hunt and Tyler managed to find the silver egg!! After spending the day there we went back to East Bernard to stay with Grandma & Pepaw. After church Sunday morning we went back to the house to eat lunch and wait for Jake & Sara to come over and then head to Grandma & Popos. Well, we got some good news when they arrived!! Turns out Tyler is going to have a cousin!! Sara is pregnant and is due October 19. We are thrilled for them!!

We've been busy getting ready for Tyler's first birthday party. It's hard to believe he's going to be one already. Time flies way too fast...

He started taking steps last week! Rodney has seen him take 4 or 5 in a row, but I've only witnessed a couple at a time. So, watch out! He's all over the place as it is crawling - I can only imagine once he gets good at walking...

He has also learned to clap and wave. His favorite thing to say is 'da da'. When Rodney was out of town, he would call us and the entire time we were talking (on speaker phone), Tyler would look at the phone and say 'dada'. The other day, one of the teachers at daycare said Tyler was holding a spoon to his ear and said 'dada'. Too cute...

Here are some recent pics and videos...
