Wings Over Houston

This morning, we went to the 25th annual "Wings Over Houston" show at Ellington Field. There were a lot of people there, but luckily we were given advice to get there early, so we beat some of the crowd. There were a lot of planes, jets, helicopters, etc on display. Tyler was able to sit in a few of them and enjoyed looking at them all.

We saw part of the show and it was really cool. It was kind of stressful though - Tyler wanted nothing to do with ear plugs (which makes me dread tubes even more) so we bought some earmuff things for him. Well, he was not a fan of these either, so every time a jet would fly by we'd either put our hands over his ears or sneak the ear protectors on him for a few seconds. I am definitely looking forward to going back next year when Tyler will be a little older and will be able to enjoy it more (and maybe think the ear protectors are cool).
